Out of over 90,000 types of hardwoods existing globally, merely 100 are utilized in the luxurious veneer sector. For the Kayserburg Étoile Collection, only the most striking hardwoods have been chosen, such as the East Indian Rosewood, which is renowned for its striking beauty and is commonly found in various Asian antiques. Another noteworthy example is Ziricote, an unusual timber found in Central America that ranges from reddish-brown to dark brown and features distinctive pale-yellow sapwood streaks.
