Kayserburg Sponsors Benefit tour in Southeast Asia with Jonkgy Goei

Indonesian-born pianist Jonkgy Goei is the initiator of a series of benefit concerts for disabled children on the island of Sulawesi

Jonkgy Goei, a pianist of Indonesian origin, is the mastermind behind a sequence of charity concerts to aid disabled children living on the Sulawesi island. The initiative was born from the support project of the Evangelical Mission in Solidarity (EMS), a network consisting of 23 churches and five mission societies located in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.

Jongky Goei collaborated with Francisco José Pérez Perelló, a Spanish pianist, and Zihao (Carlos) Zou, a talented 9-year-old pianist, to organize a sequence of concerts across six significant Indonesian cities, including Jakarta and Bali. The culmination of the series was a piano matinee held at the Leonhardskirche in Stuttgart.

The Pearl River Piano Group aided the initiative by providing hand-picked concert pianos at various locations. One of the premium models provided was the Kayserburg 9′ Concert Grand KA275, which was custom-made and is considered the flagship model of the Pearl River Piano Group.
